>> So who am I?

Before I begin with who I am, it would probably be easier to begin with who I was.

I arrived in London at the age of 19. Fresh faced and innocent, excited at the prospect of living in a foreign country. London, in comparison to the small town I came from, was overwhelming and I had to learn to grow up fairly quickly.

As with all new recruits, I turned to bar work, refining my skills in cocktail tricks and learning the secrets of the trade. I lived a fairly unhealthy life-style; late nights, smoky bars and fast food. I managed to accomplish very little during that time, spent most of my money on partying and alcohol and the rest on sleeping.

I figured it was time I moved up in the world and accepted a promotion. I was promoted to hostess. In terms of drinking; a positive move - more money too spend on booze. I continued this way for about a year, at the same time realizing my current life-style was contributing to persistent colds and general un-wellness.

I begin climbing the corporate ladder and developed a talent for discovering new ways of making money. Eventually I ended up in I.T as a web developer, hunched in-front of a computer 9 hours a day, eating lunch at my desk. I presented myself with a whole new set of problems; bad digestion, under nourished, headaches and an increasing amount of sick days to add to my list.

I lacked the knowledge to realise I could do anything about it and continued burying myself deeper. Doctor's bills increased, my relationship started weakening and the constant pressure of making ends meet soon took its toll on me.

I knew something had to change, I just did not know what. After attending a life-changing seminar at London Excel; I discovered a refreshing new world of options. At that time Life Coaching was fairly new and not many institutions offered training. I was excited at the prospect of turning my life around and really wanted to get my foot in the door. The transition from web developer to student took me around 2 years, when finally coaching was becoming the buzz word and institutions were now offering accredited training courses.

I signed up and completed my training with one of Europe's largest coaching organisations; The Coaching Academy. I was now an accredited Life Coach, hot-headed ready to take on the world fixing one person at a time. I started seeing clients on a 1-2-1 basis working on a range of issues and goals. During coaching, I discovered many clients who were driven towards achieving success, they pushed themselves daily and lived with many conditions they considered normal or had just grown accustomed to, this all sounded so familiar. Symptoms such as constant tiredness, low sex drive, mood swings and depression to mention a few.

What needed to change?
What was missing?
These were the questions I kept asking myself. How can someone have the desire and motivation to pursue a goal but not have the energy to make it through one day?

I stumbled upon a book about Detoxification and completed my first 30 day DETOX. I was amazed at the results. My energy levels were soaring at the end of the 30 day program, I developed healthy attitude towards food, lost weight, glowing skin, improved sleep and vast improvement with general health. I was no longer suffering from symptoms that I had lived with for most of my life. This was only the beginning for me and I have been detoxing since at regular intervals.

I received further accreditation as a Nutritionist and NLP Practitioner. My goal: To focus on a niche that complimented all the aspects of achieving success. One cannot achieve success and not have the energy or health to enjoy it.

So from there I established The DETOX Coach with the focus on re-energising, revitalising and detoxing the body and mind to create a healthy strong foundation that will in turn support your goals and dreams with energy and vitality.

Our bodies and minds are all connected and although we have the imagination and motivation to achieve success, we need health and energy to pursue success. I now coach clients on achieving personal wellbeing and success on a holistic level that in turn will support the body and mind, mutually aligning goals.

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me, I hope I have the opportunity to find our more about you and to work with you in the near future.
